During December, the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project, in collaboration with the São Miguel Environment and Climate Action Service, planted 48 specimens of Azorina vidalii and 48 specimens of Tolpis suculenta in the Pico das Camarinhas Natural Monument at Ponta da Ferraria, on the island of São Miguel.
This planting is part of Action C3.2, ‘Conservation in-situ’, which aims to strengthen wild populations in areas of natural occurrence in order to increase the number of viable individuals and ensure a better conservation status for these species.
