As part of implementing the LEVERS project’s Learning Ventures, Expolab organised an accredited training session for 1st and 2nd cycle teachers on the island of São Miguel entitled ‘Biodiversity and Climate Change’.
The session was attended by the LIFE SNAILS, LIFE BEETLES, LIFE IP AZORES NATURA and LIFE IP CLIMAZ projects, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action. During the event, these projects presented their educational offerings and organised interactive activities, allowing teachers to explore innovative teaching resources and experiment with methodologies that enrich school curricula, fostering environmental awareness and biodiversity conservation.
