By the end of June, at São Miguel island, the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project attended the National Capacity Building Project training action (LIFE CAP PT II – Portugal Capacity Building for Better Use of LIFE II), which purpose is to enhance the use of LIFE Programme in Portugal. This was an initiative of the Regional Secretariat for Environment and Climate Change, as an associated beneficiary, which carried out three regional dissemination sessions and workshops, related to the Programme for Environment and Climate Action (LIFE) – 2023, on the islands of São Miguel, Terceira and Faial.

These sessions and workshops were an opportunity to share experiences and contacts with possible candidates looking to prepare and apply for a project through the LIFE Programme.

During this session, LIFE IP AZORES NATURA was a successful example of an approved application and identified the different factors and various stages regarding the process of the application preparation and submission.
