The Island Nature Park Advisory Boards are fundamental instruments in managing the protected areas of each of the islands. They are an excellent tool for assessing work progress and aligning future objectives with various stakeholders.
In this sense, and as part of Action F4, the management team of the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project attended the Advisory Boards of the Flores, São Jorge, Pico, Graciosa, Terceira, São Miguel and Corvo Island Nature Parks held at the end of 2024. During these meetings, the progress made within the project’s scope, as well as future actions, contributed to the discussion of solutions aimed at the correct management of the intervention areas and optimising the results of the conservation work.
