The Regional Directorate of Maritime Policies (DRPM), partner of the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project, promotes a new coastal and underwater cleaning event that will take place on 4th June, Saturday, in Horta, on the Special Area of Conservation (ZEC) of Monte da Guia.
This campaign takes place within the scope of the LIFE IP Azores Natura project, as part of the Regional Campaign for Coastal and Underwater Cleaning of the Azores, in collaboration with the OCEANLIT project.
The coastal clean up will take place in Entremontes, with the co-organization of the Observatório do Mar dos Açores (OMA), with the meeting point at 10 am at Fábrica da Baleia.
The Underwater clean up will take place in the area adjacent to Ilhéu Negro, Porto Pim, and the meeting point will be at 8:30 am in the fishing port, next to the warehouses of the Escola do Mar dos Açores (EMA).
