Last June, the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project monitored the conservation work carried out on the Praia Islet on the island of Graciosa.

This monitoring was done in collaboration with the Graciosa Environment and Climate Change Service, in synergy with the São Jorge Environment and Climate Change Service, which travelled to Graciosa to learn and gain experience in monitoring seabirds so that, in the future, these efforts can also be replicated on the Topo Islet, an intervention area in which the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project is carrying out seabird conservation work.

All this synergy between teams is crucial to improving the work to be carried out, providing support for similar tasks and continuous training, and contributing to the teams’ success and motivation.
