In La Palma, work has already begun on the removal of invasive species such as Austrocylindropuntia sp., a group of cacti whose spines can reach 8 cm in length. The photograph was taken in Los Llanos de Aridane, within the Protected Landscape of Tamanca, which demonstrates the difficulty in removing this species and the help of another project specializing in the removal of invasive species in the Canary archipelago – RedEXOS.
